Tomato Lovin

So today was productive. I picked, blanched, cut and froze 20 quarts of tomatoes. A friend at work told me to freeze tomatoes, green peppers and onions together to have endless possibilities ready in the freezer. You can make pasta sauce, salsa, omelettes, chili etc. It was such a fun project too. Josh was a great helper. I love me some tomatoes. Our freezer is full!

I love Josh in the fall time

I love the fall time. Here's why. Josh looks hot in flannels. Halloween is coming. Hot cider. Hot chocolate. Fall crafts. Josh gets to fish every night ( lots in our freezer). The air is crisp. It makes me want to live in the woods. Life is good. I LOVE JOSH!

Peaches

Our dear brother and sister Hyrum and Nicole and their unbelievably fun boys Scottie James and Grant came to visit us a few weeks ago. We had so much fun with them and we love them so much. They live in New Mexico so its always a real treat when we get to see them. We canned peaches while they were here. The boys were such good helpers. I tried my own recipe. Spiced Peaches with cinnamon, cloves and nutmeg. Yummy. We love eating them.

Step 4- eat delicious blackberry lime jam

Our friend the Moose

So on our fun weekend trip we ran into a Moose. He was the sweetest Moose I have ever met. We became friends throughout the day. Here is a video of him swimming by me and a few pictures of our afternoon together.
